Voting for Winner of Verizon Wireless $45,000 Dream Quince Party Now Open to the Public

For the third consecutive year, Verizon (News - Alert) Wireless brings to U.S. teens the My Fabulous 15 contest. This year, Verizon Wireless has selected a total of 100 semi-finalists from Los Angeles, San Jose, El Paso, Salt Lake and Seattle. The public can now start voting for their favourite contestants from September 2nd 2010 through September 14th 2010 by text messaging or by voting directly on the My Fabulous 15 website, www.myfabulous15.com.
This much sought-after contest represents the Verizon Wireless' commitment to honour the cultural heritage of the Hispanics, hence the Quinceanera or Quince party for short, to honour the coming of age for a teenager. Eligible teenagers from select cities can apply for this contest. Voting is now open to the public. Last year, the contestants had received more than six million texts and many online votes.
The lucky winner of the Grand Prize, will be the one who writes the most compelling essay on the given topic, and then receives the most number of votes, via texts and online. The results will be announced during the week of September 13th 2010. This party will be organized for October 16th 2010, and will be thrown open for the winner and 200 guests. The winner will win the Grand Prize of a Quince party, valued at $45,000, with a free limo ride to the party, food and later on a private concert with the popular British pop/R&B artist Jay Sean, who will be performing his new single "2012" live!
