ADTRAN's (News - Alert) Optical Networking Edge (ONE) solution has received the 2011 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award from TMC.

Providing service providers with a flexible and efficient network architecture, ADTRAN's ONE solution scales to support bandwidth-intensive applications and services for both residential and business subscribers.
Due to its features, the solution allows service providers to improve their market responsiveness to the dynamic service and network requirements.

"ADTRAN was chosen to receive a 2011 Product of the Year Award for creating outstanding advancements in communications," said Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), CEO at TMC. "ONE has proven benefits for its customers and provides ROI for the companies that use it. Congratulations to the entire team at ADTRAN. I look forward to more innovative solutions from them in the coming year."
ONE can combine and accommodate Packet Optical Transport System (P-OTS) functions with advanced access and aggregation capabilities within a single device.
It can also merge multiple optical services into a single platform, helping service providers to cost effectively support multiple service offerings.
"ONE is allowing service providers to unleash next-generation service capabilities through a solution with unprecedented scalability to address new subscriber markets and maintain critical quality-of-service for a better bottom line," said Mano Nachum, Packet Optical Networking Product Line Manager for ADTRAN's Carrier Networks Division.
