EagleView Further Cements its Position with Industry Standard
When two creative brothers-in-law: Dave Carlson, a roofing contractor, and Chris Pershing, a software engineer in Seattle, began collaborating on how to go about measuring roofs remotely using photography, little did they realize that their company, EagleView, would one day become the industry standard in aerial roof measurements.
As it continues to develop solutions to automate traditionally manual processes, EagleView has reportedly introduced another industry first
: Wall measurement reports for residential properties.
"The introduction of wall measurement reports affirms EagleView's commitment to continue creating solutions through technology for the insurance and construction industries," said Rishi Daga, vice president of insurance and client relations at EagleView Technologies.
This first-of-its-kind technology is stated to offer an automated process to gather measurements, derived from high-resolution photographs using EagleView's patented technology, with a higher degree of accuracy.
A 3D wall area diagram, the total square footage of the wall areas, the number and total square feet of windows and doors, and north, south, east and west elevation diagrams and other information is presented in an easy-to-read table format with wall sections labeled for quick reference
The significance of EagleView's new technologies can be fully realized when one considers the fact that insurance companies and adjusters embrace EagleView as they too see the benefits of an accurate, third-party report in the event of a claim.
A large team of software developers and hundreds of highly trained spatial recognition technicians work hard to accurate reports and measurements. EagleView continues the good work of creating new software technologies that lead to improved efficiency and increased profits for businesses, placing it in the forefront of the industry.
From its humble beginnings, EagleView has, in a short time, come such a long way that today the insurance and construction industry have begun to rely on its patented technology to provide, detailed, accurate measurements from aerial imagery.
Committed to developing progressive technology that automates manual activities in the construction and insurance industries, it plans to expand this concept to several new industries.
EagleView Technologies, the leader in aerial and satellite measurement technologies, released a new version of its mobile application that features a property-centric
organization system. Users will also enjoy the ease of creating a new account directly from within the application.
