The 2015 Connecticut Mobile Summit Explores Mobile Enterprise Solutions Opportunities and Challenges

Norwalk, CT-February 9, 2015-Transactions Marketing, Inc. and TMC (News - Alert) today announced they will co-host the 2015 Connecticut Mobile Summit on May 6, 2015 at the University of Connecticut Stamford Campus. The 2015 Connecticut Mobile Summit is a mobile enterprise end user conference dedicated to peer to peer exchange and exploring the opportunities and challenges of mobility solutions. Connecticut's leading edge companies, both emerging and established, will share their experience implementing mobility solutions to improve productivity, enhance revenue and provide better customer service.

The Summit will open with a keynote delivered by V. James Onalfo, Former Deputy Commissioner and CIO New York City Police Department (NYPD).  Onalfo developed a Strategic Systems Plan to move NYPD IT into the 21st century. During his 11 years as CIO, the NYPD completely overhauled its IT environment, investing over $1 billion. Onalfo contributed to the implementation of multiple high tech centers including the Facial ID center, the PETS system which manages all evidence inventories, the LMSI Center, which monitors terrorist attacks in NYC, the Detective Case Management system where 1 million cases are managed in a modern online computer system and the Real Time Crime Center, a $12 MM real time "mission control" command center for NYPD.  Mobility solutions were central to his transformation of NYPD's ability to "fight in real time," and he will share those solutions with attendees.

Summit organizer Brenda Lewis, Principal of Transactions Marketing, Inc, urges even those at the earliest stages of exploring mobile enterprise solutions for their firm to attend.  "In three to five years any enterprise that has not implemented mobility solutions for its customers, employees, and suppliers will be leapfrogged, disintermediated or go bankrupt. Connecticut cannot afford to be behind this curve."
