Sentry Power Signs New Distribution and Sales Agreements

Power Technology Inc’s backup power subsidiary, Sentry Power Technology, has reportedly signed three new distribution and sales agreements for the Sentry Power systems. Sentry Power Technology Systems will now be sold by Shore Electric in Lewes, Del., Bay Ace Hardware in eastern Maryland with two locations, and Warehouse Battery Outlet in Bucks County, Pa.

Bob Magyar, president of Sentry Power Technology, said in a press release that the new dealer agreements will help the company foray into new markets for their backup power systems in the upcoming hurricane season.

“Summer electrical brownouts and the recent projections of more storm activity in the northeast United States, make backup power supplies more critical than ever. Our systems are designed for those business owners and residential customers who rely on running essential equipment in their offices and homes, but who either cannot or will not use gasoline fed generators,” he added.

The Sentry Power system is installed indoors and quietly produces clean office and/or household power. The system is completely automatic, transfers backup power demand onto the batteries in less then 20 milliseconds and then returns primary power demand back to the utility when power is restored. Battery charging is fully automatic with the systems requiring minimal monthly operating costs.
