Lite Point Corp. has released the IQmax-100 one-box solution to address the needs of WiMax volume manufacturing. The tester shares a common hardware platform with the IQmax-500.

With integrated Vector Signal Analyzer (VSA) and Vector Signal Generator (VSG) resources, the one-box testers ensure consistent test results for all critical fixed and mobile WiMAX physical layer parameters, including all bandwidth and data rate options for product development, volume manufacturing and quality assurance (QA), said the company. They meet all current international WiMAX product test needs, are software upgradeable to easily address any evolving 802.16 standard’s needs, and are positioned to support future WiMAX implementations, including Beamforming and MIMO.

In addition, the testers support optional WiFi and Bluetooth capability to test any WiMax, WiFi (News - Alert), Bluetooth or combination product.

IQmax accommodates fast non-link-based test methodology which enables low-cost manufacturing with extensive test coverage that can reduce test times.

The IQmax-100 comes with a flexible C++ API interface to easily facilitate user automation. IQfact automated manufacturing test programs with feature chip-specific production tests, test limits, chipset test driver and test executive are available.
