Broadband Internet service provider Comcast (News - Alert) said that its Comcast Digital Voice has surpassed the two million-customer milestone. The company’s IP-enabled voice service delivers digital quality phone service, voicemail, cost-effective international rates in more than 200 countries and unlimited local and domestic calling to Puerto Rico and Canada.

To commemorate the milestone, Comcast awarded a Southeast Michigan customer with digital package offering the company’s triple play phone, high-speed internet and video services.

"We anticipate continued growth for the Digital Voice product and look forward to unveiling additional innovative features and services to our customers," said Cathy Avgiris, senior vice president and general manager of Voice Services for Comcast, in a statement.

Comcast currently has 24.2 million cable customers, 2.5 million voice customers, and 11.5 million high-sped Internet customers across United States.
