Quality Technology Services recently unveiled a SaaS (News - Alert) Enablement program especially for medical software vendors. Valid for a month, the Legacy-to-Cloud program helps organizations shift their current on-premises healthcare applications to the cloud for no extra cost.

The program aims to resolve the technical and business issues of SaaS delivery, allowing medical software vendors to rapidly shift to a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.
The QTS (News - Alert) SaaS Enablement program offers the finest data center infrastructure and proficiency in thin-client technologies. The software vendor's valid application and data will be used by the QTS SaaS Enablement program to shift current applications to the cloud.

Previously, software organizations had to accomplish lengthy and costly re-architecting projects for shifting to a more flexible, protected and lucrative SaaS delivery model. As part of the SaaS Enablement program, the software user interface and data structure can operate in an online delivery model due to the amendments carried out by the QTS services team.
The major elements of an efficient SaaS business model, like end-customer billing, monitoring and ongoing licensing services, are offered by QTS to simplify the business facet of SaaS renovation.
As part of the program, QTS will also offer an evaluation of business support services.
"SaaS Enablement allows software providers to simplify deployment to new and broader markets, to reduce operational expenses and to focus on quality and innovation rather than tech support and application re-coding." Said David Sung, EVP, Product Development at QTS. "QTS Cloud Services provides the physical, environmental, network and infrastructure resources needed to protect and deliver patient information securely all day, every day."
An increasing number of healthcare organizations are shifting to SaaS solutions. A recent research by MarketsandMarkets has revealed that 33 percent of the healthcare organizations have shifted to a cloud solution. However, the remaining organizations are not inclined in shifting to the cloud.
Software vendors are offered an instantaneous legacy-to-cloud bridge with SaaS Enablement, allowing them to fulfill customer requirements for cloud offerings in a rapid manner.
