Vocre App Available for Android Devices

Vocre has revealed the availability of its prize-winning app on Android (News - Alert). Users with Android devices will now be able to advantageously utilize this well-appreciated app to connect to the major mobile platform. The latest availability of the app aims to primarily benefit the Asian markets, which sees high usage of Android devices. Vocre has also included compatibility with five additional languages for the socially-driven, real-time language translation app.

Vocre's live language translation app continues to hold a 4.5 star rating at the iOS app store. Currently, Vocre has recorded a minimum of 2.6 million downloads of its app for iOS devices. The app has successfully translated at least 70 million times since it was launched. The app is capable of translating into 36 languages, offering best-in-class speak recognition, manual text query and rectification tool. A straightforward interface, affordable and entertaining user experience is possible due to Vocre's proprietary technology. The latest app also incorporates hybrid offering, wherein enhanced accurateness is possible due to the merger of computerized and crowdsourced translation. The app can now translate into Indonesian, Malay, Romanian, Slovak and Vietnamese. The app has successfully upset the $34 billion dollar marketplace, which saw a year-to-year growth of 13 percent .

 

As per IDC (News - Alert) research, the Android is the most widely used operating system, with 75 percent of the smartphones that were shipped during the third quarter of 2012 incorporating Android.
