As wireless networks and devices increase their footprint, companies are under pressure to migrate from wired networks to wireless networks. But this migration is not easy and it requires help from experts.
Improving the wireless connectivity in areas such as solar/wind farms and agricultural automation, Telit Wireless (News - Alert) Solutions has introduced LE70-868 point-to-point, star-topology, short-range wireless module. According to the company, this new module helps the operators to shift from wire-networked models to wireless models.

Apart from helping the operators to make the technological shift,  this new module from Telit also helps them to comply with regulatory requirements as it operates on the 868MHz European ISM license-free frequency. The LE70-868 also eliminates the need for NRE into radio and antenna engineering and design. These designs are expensive and can get complicated at times. LE70-868 is compatible with ZigBee and other Low-Power Mesh products. LE70-868 belongs to the short range product series from Tlit.

Short Range RF devices are gaining prominence these days as they have less possibility of interference with other radio services. Short range devices usually enjoy relaxed compliance requirements when compared to other devices.
"The LE70-868 was designed to help manufacturers of electronic devices which have traditionally been cable-networked go wireless quickly and easily,' said Dominikus Hierl, chief marketing officer at Telit Wireless Solutions. 'The LE70-868 follows the engineering tradition of all our cellular and short-range modules, with industry-topping performance and features that can significantly lower BOM cost and engineering complexity. Our customers further benefit from the extensive know how in RF design from our R&D and Support organizations which collaborate with them"
Recently, the company unveiled two new products, named the UE910 V2 HSDPA and HE910 V2 HSPA+ modules. Both these products make use of chipsets from Qualcomm (News - Alert) Technologies, the company has announced.
