Pango announced that its Pango interactive app, which has been designed to make parking easy via a customer's mobile phone, has gone live in New York City and Phoenix, Arizona.

Pango are experts in providing pay by mobile phone parking service. The company also confirmed that it is working on a robust strategy to roll out the Pango app during 2013.
For its debut in New York City, PangoUSA will collaborate with Imperial Parking, the largest privately owned garage company in the city. The garage provides valet-based parking across their 110 garage locations in the city. By leverage from the new Pango app, a consumer can park his car, begin the online parking meter, and then when required, he can send a request that he will pick his car up via his phone.

Bill Learner, president of Imperial Parking Systems, said that, 'Car parking services have not changed since the invention of the auto. Pango allows my customers to get to their cars faster and more efficiently - no lines to ask for a car or to pay. Pango is also providing me with a direct link to communicate with my parker - something I have never had before.'
A consumer using the Pango app benefits from easy payment, and is spared the inconvenience of having to wait in line while his car is driven to the front. Imperial Parking expects to offer Pango in February.
In a statement, Neil Edwards, president of PangoUSA, said that, 'PangoUSA gives consumers a convenient and easy way to park using their phone; cities and parking operators can increase their revenues, lower their operating costs, and actually know who their customers are; and, businesses can reach consumers with local offers through the Pango app. Pango invented and patented the science behind pay by phone parking, and we are excited to deliver our exceptional service to consumers and cities across the United States.'
In the city of Phoenix, Pango and Red Development's CityScape, a 1.1 million-square-foot mixed-use urban project, will work closely to bring the Pango app to the patrons to CityScape.
