Logitech Transforms Meeting Spaces with New Touch Screen Solutions

Virtual meetings have become increasingly important today as more businesses connect with remote workers and maintain operations while social distancing. With the increase in video communications happening, there’s also been an uptick in solutions to make the meetings more productive and innovative than ever before.


Tech product company Logitech is offering a new meeting room controller and touch screen scheduling panel for video rooms in support of employees transitioning back to work and for the new hybrid workplace. This latest move helps enterprises continue to have quality communications required in the enterprise without sacrificing the security and dependability of communications.

The new Tap IP network-based meeting room controller is compatible with Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, Zoom Rooms Appliances, PC-based Zoom Rooms, and RingCentral Rooms.

Tap Scheduler, is a purpose-built meeting scheduling panel, can be fully integrating with collaboration platforms using PoE cable. Currently, it can be used for Teams panel, Zoom Rooms Scheduling display, Robin-powered scheduling panel, or with Meetio. Additional integrations will be available after launch.

 “Tap IP and Tap Scheduler were designed from the ground up to provide secure, enterprise-grade performance; elegant design including sleek cable retention; and compatibility with the major market service players - all at an affordable price,” said Scott Wharton, general manager and vice president, Logitech Video Collaboration.

 Installed in the meeting rooms, it can make it incredibly easy to schedule times for meetings and even join video meetings using an easy touch screen functionality.

“The current touch controller market has a Goldilocks problem: a high end that's complex, expensive, and largely proprietary; and a lower end dominated by consumer tablets that were not designed with enterprise requirements like remote device management, security, and cable management,” said Wharton.

Both products will be available Fall 2021 globally with an MSRP of $699 each.
