CALL CENTER 2.0 ™ to be Launched in San Diego

New Event Launched to Specifically Address the Needs of the  Modern Call Center
 in the transition to Internet Protocol Telephony Based Phone Systems
Norwalk, CT, [March 3, 2006] — Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®) announced today the launch of CALL CENTER 2.0™ ( ). Call Center 2.0™  is a new event that will feature two full days of in-depth educational sessions designed to address the needs of call center leaders as they transition to IP Telephony based call systems. The event will also feature an exhibit hall with vendors providing IP Call Center solutions, and networking events bringing together buyers and sellers.

Call Center 2.0™ will take place October 11-12, 2006 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California.

The event will be co-located with the 14th INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO™, which is the world’s largest and best attended IP Communication event.
According to Rich Tehrani, TMC President and chairman of both INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO ™ and Call Center 2.0™, “IP Telephony is the biggest change to happen to call centers in the 25-plus years we’ve been in this business. The technology is amazing and holds tremendous potential for call centers of all sizes, but it is also complicated and overwhelming to many. That is why we are launching Call Center 2.0™, to usher in this new era by providing call center leaders with the information and resources they need to succeed.”
