Program Released for New IP Communications Business Summit in Silicon Valley

Co-Located with Inaugural VoIP Demo Event, New Conference Educates Financial Community and Vendors about Opportunities in IP Communications Market

Norwalk, CT, [June 12, 2006] — Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®) and Robins Consulting Group (RCG) today released the agenda of educational sessions that comprise their new IP Communications Business Summit conference in Santa Clara, California. The event, co-located as part of TMC’s VoIP Demo conference, will take place August 8-10, 2006 at the Santa Clara Hyatt Regency.

Unlike any other events, IP Communications Business Summit and VoIP Demo™ were created to provide value to members of the financial industry interested in evaluating companies and products for investment, to vendors looking for new customers and funding in this increasingly competitive industry, and to companies seeking to implement VoIP and IP communications technologies in their organizations.

Educational sessions at the IP Communications Business Summit are divided into two tracks: Sessions for Investors and Sessions for Vendors.

The Investor Track is specifically for investors seeking to evaluate opportunities in the IP Communications industry. It presents venture capitalists, angel investors, incubators, and investment bankers with three “State of the Industry” sessions focused on key industry market segments, including the consumer, SOHO, enterprise, government and service provider.

The Vendor track was developed specifically for entrepreneurs and executives of early stage and emerging IP Communications companies, and focuses on essential funding, marketing, and business issues. Vendors will explore effective strategies for attracting and securing funding; learn about various tactics and strategies for developing and executing an effective marketing plan; and discover how to create a winning PR strategy and the steps to take to make sure the plan that’s chosen is the best one for their company.

According to Rich Tehrani, TMC President and co-chairman of the IP Communications Business Summit and VoIP Demo, “Customers, analysts and the financial community are demanding a place where they can conveniently preview the products and services they need, cover or invest in. And as competition increases, vendors are looking for new avenues to reach this diverse audience. Based on our position as a recognized leader in the IP Communications field, TMC was in a unique position to give both sides exactly what they wanted.”

Tehrani continued, “As the popularity of VoIP increases throughout the world, there are myriad products, services, and technologies from which to choose. For a person to research everything on their own could take months. Our hope is that people can come to VoIP Demo and find everything they need in one room, and do all of their research over the course of two days!”

“It’s clear that we’re entering a golden age for IP Communications technology, products and services,” says Marc Robins, Chief Evangelism Officer at RCG and co-chairman of the IP Communications Business Summit and VoIP Demo. “Small, medium and large businesses around the world have discovered the new value proposition that IP-based communications systems and services represent, and are making the decision to replace their legacy communications infrastructure with new IP-based solutions in ever greater numbers. In addition, consumers are signing up for new VoIP services in droves.”

“This growing traction in the marketplace is creating tantalizing new opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs alike, and the fertility of the underlying technology is creating whole new classes of disruptive products and services that are effectively redefining the entire communications technology industry.”
