Dan Murphy (News - Alert), Vice President, Marketing, Axeda Corp.
Dan Murphy is one of the most seasoned experts in the machine-to-machine (M2M) industry - and is a frequent speaker and panelist on topics such as the Internet of Corporate Things, the Axeda Machine Cloud, platform strategies and application delivery technologies. Dan's background in enterprise software and security solutions spans 15+ years with industry-leading companies like Symantec (News - Alert), Macromedia, and PTC -  driving hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenue and serving thousands of end-users and developers.  Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. 
Ken Hosac, Vice President, Business Development, CradlePoint
At CradlePoint, Ken has served in both Business Development and Product Management.  Ken has 23 years experience in marketing, sales, development and manufacturing. Prior to joining CradlePoint, Ken served as VP of Marketing for Casabyte (later acquired by JDS Uniphase).  Ken also served as VP of Business Development for GoAhead Software (later acquired by Oracle (News - Alert)).  Ken earlier spent 10 years at Hewlett Packard with cable modems & head-ends, set-top boxes and personal computers in a variety of engineering and engineering management roles.  Ken holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering, both from Stanford University.
Jeffrey O. Smith, Ph.D, Chief Technology Officer, Numerex
As a scientist for Motorola (News - Alert), The Robotics Institute, and the Superconducting Super Collider (SSC), Dr. Smith has worked on wireless sensor and control systems developed for the FBI, CIA, DOD, DOE, NASA, and USPS - from autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles to particle accelerators. Dr. Smith is currently Chief Technical Officer of Numerex (NASDAQ: NMRX). He has served or serves on the boards of several prominent high tech companies. In February 2010, he was elected Chairman of TIA TR-50 Smart Device Communications Engineering Committee and in September 2010, he was appointed convener of the GSC M2M Standardization Task Force (MSTF).
John Horn, President, RACO Wireless
John Horn joined RACO Wireless as president after serving as a leader at T-Mobile (News - Alert) for over nine years. While at T-Mobile he developed and managed Indirect Distribution for the California launch - the largest launch in wireless history and then launched the M2M Channel. During his last six years at T-Mobile he focused specifically on developing the M2M program and go to market strategy and helped T-Mobile to earn recognition as the market leader for M2M services. In 2007 and 2008 he was named an M2M Pioneer. Previous to T-Mobile John has served as a Manager, Director and VP of other telecom companies for over 23 years. He has managed direct and indirect distribution models in both the business and consumer channels. John earned a degree in Political Science from the University of California at Davis.
Mobeen Khan, Executive Director, Advanced Mobility Solutions, AT&T (News - Alert) Business Solutions
Khan joined AT&T with more than 15 years of progressive experience in telecommunications and technology marketing, business development, operations and strategy. In his current role, Mobeen is developing and executing on marketing strategy to support the mobility portfolio. His responsibilities include positioning AT&T as a leader in providing enterprise mobility solutions, driving demand generation through direct sale segments, external channels and online marketing.
James Brehm, Senior Strategist and Consultant, Compass Intelligence
Brehm's primary responsibilities at Compass Intelligence are to increase client value by evaluating, recommending, and creating innovative market strategies for Compass Intelligence's high-tech clientele. Additionally, he directs the content, product development, and vendor/customer relations activities as it relates to the M2M syndicated and portal services. This includes leading and conducting primary and secondary market research, market sizing, forecasting, and other analyst responsibilities where needed. Compass Intelligence provides strategy acceleration, consulting and ideation services, market segmentation, market research/intelligence and competitive analysis in the telecom, mobile, IT, M2M and network markets.
Nikki Cuban, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development, OnAsset Intelligence
At OnAsset Intelligence, a leading service provider of remote monitoring and freight intelligence solutions, Cuban pioneered FAA approval of the first airborne asset tracking device in the commercial air space. Prior to that, she was instrumental in product development and marketing strategies for M2M solutions in the Energy Industry while working at TXU Energy.  Her marketing experience combines knowledge of vertical industry applications that leverage M2M for increased business performance, as well as the individual technical components that make up the M2M ecosystem.  Cuban's start in M2M began with as an industry analyst with Parks Associates and the Connected Home.
Carl Ford, Partner and Community Developer, Crossfire re Media
