It's been a banner month for Brightpoint, Inc., which announced on separate days that it has entered into agreements with Cingular Wireless, iPass, Motorola and RTX America to provide various distribution and logistics services.

Most recently, the Plainfield, Ind.-based company announced in a press release on Tuesday that its subsidiary, Wireless Fulfillment Services LLC, entered into a Master Agent agreement with Cingular Wireless.

The focus of the agreement targets enterprise and small-medium businesses through value-added resellers (VAR) and system integrators (SI), according to the release.

VARs and SIs will sell bundled wireless solutions to their customers through Brightpoint's recently developed Wireless Enterprise Solutions (WES) program.

"For VARs and SIs and mobile operators, the SMB segment offers a large opportunity for growth and new revenue," the press release states. "Throughout the WES website, VAR's will be able to view the portfolio of Cingular devices, wireless voice and data plans, and select the package that best meets their customer's needs and requirements."

One day earlier, Brightpoint announced in a prepared statement that it entered into a preferred supplier agreement with iPass, Inc. to sell wireless communications products and services to iPass and its customers.

On Aug. 9, Brightpoint struck its deal with Motorola, in which Brightpoint will distribute Motorola VT1000 Broadband Voice Gateways.

Finally, on Aug. 3, Brightpoint announced that its subsidiary, Brightpoint North America, entered into an agreement with RTX America, Inc. for the distribution of RTX devices, including the RTX DUALphone, according to a press release.
