ePayment prodider Click&Buy LLC announced its partnership with VoIP-based calling services Skype Limited today. Thanks to the new partnership, now Skype will accept Click&Buy as an online payment option for Skypers.

Click&Buy is an online platform that offers a payment option for Skypers loading their Skype-Wallet with VoIP credits, which then can be used for various services at the Skype Store. Click&Buy accepts many foreign currencies and converts payments without high transaction and conversion fees and is available in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, U.S. and UK.

"We are pleased to help Skype in expanding its secure online payment options. Click&Buy's offering of, ACH, eCheck, European Direct Debit, phone billing and cash payment options across the US and all European markets, bundled with the traditional means of credit and debit card payments, will give Skype a more well-rounded solution for online digital payments," said Fabian G. Siegel, president of Click&Buy, LLC.

Through Click&Buy's services consumers can access online digital, mobile and paid content, such as games, music, publications and other online content. It allows merchants to sell online by giving consumers the choice to pay for online content and services through a variety of payment instruments such as phone billing, credit cards, debit cards, eCheck, Direct Debit, or cash using local languages and currencies.

"Through Click&Buy, we will further expand our worldwide customer base. Their European business and growth in the U.S. makes them an attractive payment system for Skype," said Michael Jackson, head of paid services for Skype.

Available in 27 languages, Skype is used by people in almost every country around the world, and Skyping has become a global phenomenon. The latest version of the software has further simplified the Skype interface, making it even easier for people to see and speak with their family, friends and colleagues.

Skype made a lot of noise when it announced SkypeWeb earlier this month. The new Web presence feature is already integrated into more than 50 Web sites in 20 countries around the world. SkypeWeb allows people to see Skypers' online status and call or chat with them from any Web site as well as Skypers from each site with a click of a mouse.

The feature integrates Skype into any Web site. With SkypeWeb, Web administrators can easily enable all site visitors to talk for free over the net. With SkypeWeb users can make their Skype status available on the Web in two steps: Opt in using the tools menu on their Skype and create their own presence button by copying–and-pasting a few lines of HTML and script from skype.com/share/buttons/.

Some of the companies that have already integrated SkypeWeb include Bebo, DBA.DK, Lunarstorm, Onet.pl, Salesforce.com, Six Apart, TOM.com and vBulletin.
