Russian VoIP product provider SPIRIT DSP announced on Friday the 200th deployment of the company's voice and communication software products.

STROM telecom is SPIRIT's deployment number 200. STROM develops and supplies telecom equipment for both fixed and wireless networks. STROM's partnership with SPIRIT enabled the VoIP provider to supply speech enhancement software products into STROM's infrastructure core (gateways and servers) to support its data and voice communications in mobile networks in Europe and beyond.

"Our collaboration with SPIRIT proved very successful. We have had experience with other VOIP suppliers before that was negative, and switched to SPIRIT. We are glad we have partnered with SPIRIT, and we are entirely satisfied with the highest quality and performance of their software, as well as with efficient and friendly support provided during the integration process", said Hynek Behan, group manager, STROM telecom. "We would definitely recommend SPIRIT as valuable and reliable partner."

STROM telecom Digital Telecommunication System was shipped with SPIRIT voice and communication software embedded. STROM telecom joined SPIRIT's  customer list, which includes Agere, Atmel, Flextronics, Ericsson, Furuno, HTC, Hyundai, JRC, Kyocera, LG, Macromedia, Marconi, NEC, Nortel Networks, Oracle, Panasonic, Philips, Polycom, Samsung, Siemens, Texas Instruments and Toshiba, among many others.

SPIRIT made news earlier this year when it announced that it integrated its voice products with the Macromedia Breeze 5 for better voice quality in this Flash-based enterprise communication and collaboration system.

The new Breeze 5 is currently being used by businesses for online training, marketing, sales and Web-based conferencing. The system is a rich Web-based communication program which displays multimedia content and can be deployed using the Macromedia Flash Player. Since most browsers have the Macromedia Flash Player already installed, users can instantly join Breeze online meetings, training courses and on-demand presentations.

"We are excited by our partnership with Macromedia which is another validation of SPIRIT's leadership in the global voice conferencing market. Flash Player today has more active users than both Skype and MSN Messenger combined," noted Andrew Sviridenko, SPIRIT's founder and chairman back in August. "SPIRIT multi-point voice conferencing engine is the only solution in the market today that complies with the highest quality, fidelity, reliability, functionality, cost saving and security requirements of enterprise customers."

Be sure not to miss "Selecting Enterprise Conferencing Solutions" at the Internet Telephony Conference & EXPO show at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California Oct. 24-27, 2005. On Monday, Nikita Bogoslavsky, SPIRIT's VoIP Sr. Product Manager will explain why the culture of anywhere, anytime connectivity is driving the future of conferencing and collaboration making IP a very powerful tool. According to Bogoslavsky, "Integrated seamlessly into the work environment and linked with business processes and enterprise applications, IP conferencing yields tremendous value to an enterprise." This session covers the issues of choosing proper IP conferencing tool for large and medium sized enterprises.
