Californian Mortgage Broker Selects Amcat

CitizensPlus Inc., a regional start-up mortgage broker in San Diego, Calif., has selected Amcat (News - Alert), a company specializing in customer care and interaction solutions, to supply a new customer interaction system.

The mortgage broker will use Amcat’s technology to expand its communications capability and reach, to offer a wide range of loans including purchase, re-financing, debt consolidation and home improvement.

According to the president, Derek Wilson and VP - Broker, Matthew Cernick of CitizensPlus, as a local broker they are trying to build a big reputation in their region, offering an alternative to the traditional mortgage brokerage firms.


With a simple business philosophy CitizensPlus encourage productivity and mutual respect for both their employees and their customers. The company was searching for a contact management system that could provide them the sophistication and flexibility required to tailor their campaigns to their specific markets and maximize their number of leads.

“We were very impressed with Amcat’s reputation in the mortgage brokering industry, and after following up several references decided to invite them to provide a full demonstration of the system,” explained Derek Wilson and Matthew Cernick in a press release.

Following a successful trial and implementation the solution will initially handle all of their outbound sales activities by phone and also later via e-mail.

Citizens Plus is reportedly very impressed by the flexibility of the solution’s scripting package that enables them to make alterations on-the-fly and easily adapt scripts for different types of campaigns.

“We have an excellent relationship with the Amcat team who been very supportive and have given us the confidence that they will really help us to grow our business and deliver proven results,” concluded Wilson and Cernick.

Amcat made news last week for being chosen by Stockport-based, commercial estate agency RTA Business Consultants to provide a customer contact management solution.

Using Amcat’s Contact Centre Suite the commercial estate agency will centralize, automate and more effectively track the company’s appointment setting activities to improve productivity of its UK-wide sales force.

Amcat provides contact center solutions to enhance the running and management of contact centers.
