AT&T Yellow Pages Listings Reflect Modern Living

If you thought that finding the number for an animal chiropractor would be a never-ending project, think again. Finding the more modern categories like these in the Yellow Pages has become easier thanks to AT&T (News - Alert). The telecom giant has also added other categories that now include services such as online schools and meal-preparation companies in its information directories. The new categories surely reflect the modern society we currently live in.

 

"In addition to being a great way to find local businesses, the AT&T Yellow Pages also reflects how we live," noted Bob Mueller, director of Marketing Communications for AT&T Yellow Pages in a statement. "Keeping our animals healthy and active, learning online, and buying meals already prepared have become facets of modern life, and we reflect those trends in our books," he continued.

 

AT&T's Headings Product Team added the following 36 new categories to the 2006-2007 book:

Today's news follows AT&T's announcement about it closing its acquisition of BellSouth Corp. The transaction is said to have created a "premier global communications company." The companies will together own and manage mobile operator Cingular (News - Alert) Wireless and Internet Yellow Pages and local search site YELLOWPAGES.COM.
