AT&T Links Deutsche Bank in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico

AT&T (News - Alert) announced that it was tapped by Deutsche Bank Brazil, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank, to supply international end-to-end private lines to the financial institution in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico, with Deutsche Bank’s operations in more than 70 countries.


 
“Deutsche Bank is committed to delivering the best services in the market, exceeding our customers’ expectations. And we strive to satisfy a demanding client base that is always aiming higher, thinking beyond and requiring a secure environment,” said Eric Castro, CTO of Brazil-based Deutsche Bank in Latin America.
 
“That is why we chose AT&T, a company that offers the most reliable, secure and globally consistent Internet Protocol (IP) network that ensures that the crucially important voice and data telecommunications, along with our mission-critical and highly sensitive applications, run flawlessly from point to point,” he concluded.
 
AT&T also agreed to provide Deutsche Bank’s IT organization with technical support.
 
Today’s news follows AT&T’s announcement about it closing its acquisition of BellSouth Corp. The transaction is said to have created a “premier global communications company.” The companies will together own and manage mobile operator Cingular (News - Alert) Wireless and Internet Yellow Pages and local search site YELLOWPAGES.COM.
