Blue Ridge Networks, a provider of computer and network security to government and businesses, has announced the success of its products and services which secures information using key cryptography and now also secures the Command and Control Network (IC2N), for the world’s largest secure VoIP network based in Iraq.

For the project, US developers transferred the authority over the IC2N to the Iraq Ministry of the Interior (MOI). This project was introduced in Iraq in November 2004 and has been providing secure and non-secure data and voice services. It connects Iraq’s major cities and supported the 2005 Iraqi Elections. It also allows secure phone conversations and access to the internet...

Mike Fumai, CEO of Blue Ridge Networks commented in a statement,  “Being able to claim that we secure the world's largest secure VoIP over satellite network is rewarding, but what I take pride in is the concerted team effort that created a solution so valuable to Iraq secure voice and data communications."

Blue Ridge Networks products represent the high standard security strength. The company’s products are being tested and certified by several independent organizations and have never failed to deliver unparalleled security solutions in its 12 years in the industry.

Also this year, the company is planning to launch a new product called Edgeguard, which is expected to put the company in the end-point security market.
