Mywaves, a fast growing mobile video company that brings Web video entertainment to mobile phones, launched SKEE.TV, a daily urban lifestyle show featuring celebrity interviews, professional athletes’ adventures, underground music, and NBA all star parties and behind-the-scenes footages.

SKEE.TV’s pilot episode was launched on February 15, featuring NBA All Star action held in Las Vegas. Future episodes will run two to three minutes daily and will be delivered to mywaves subscribers on their mobile phones. The program host, DJ SKEE will give mobile viewers daily doze of fashion, celebrity interviews, music, events, and NBA behind-the-scene coverage.

Rajeev Raman, CEO of mywaves, expressed optimism about the new mobile video entertainment. He said, “DJ SKEE's fan base represents the on-the-go and on-demand generation. Mobile youth has a near insatiable appetite for new kinds of original entertainment and they don't want to be restricted to viewing what's cool to times pre-determined by a network or to when they happen to have access to the Internet.

Raman continued: “SKEE.TV shatters the barriers -- delivering edgy, relevant content directly to mobile phones. DJ SKEE will become the face behind a whole new genre of entertainment for this audience.”

DJ SKEE is a popular DJ from the west coast hosting his own radio show entitled Sirius Satellite. He is also a businessman whose resume includes having managed marketing campaigns for T-Mobile (News - Alert) Sidekick, Dodge Magnum & Charger, and Chrysler 300C. DJ SKEE additionally is considered by some to be a trendsetter in the music industry.

Mobile users and SKEE.TV fans can now request videos to be sent directly to their mobile units by going to www.mywaves.com. This service is free of charge and allows subscribers to watch SKEE.TV episodes anytime, anywhere.
