Telecom research firm Atlantic-ACM has awarded XO communications two U.S. Wholesale Excellence Awards under the categories; Quality and Value of Data Services and Quality of Sales Representatives,  at CompTel Plus Spring 2007 Convention & Expo in Las Vegas.

The awards are based on 2007 ATLANTIC-ACM's U.S. Wholesale Long Distance Carrier Report Card, the telecommunications industry's principal wholesale benchmarking study. This report assesses wholesale carrier’s performance through the feedback of their resale customers.

In 2006, XO Communications (News - Alert) also won the Wholesale Carrier Excellence Award for best wholesale voice over IP (VoIP) service provider by Atlantic-ACM.

XO Communication recently launched a campaign offering its target market increased network bandwidth, competitive rates, and high-speed capacity network services through its inter-city and metro Networks. Along with the campaign is a guarantee program that aims to beat the prices and service quality of competing providers.

"We're very pleased that XO has been recognized as best in class for the quality of its data services and our sales teams," said Ernie Ortega, president of XO Carrier Services, in a statement. "These awards are a testament to our ongoing commitment to be the best partner for our customers in terms of innovative solutions and support."
