Networking solutions provider D-Link (News - Alert) Canada announced a distribution agreement with D&H Canada, a  North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor. D&H entered the Canadian market in 2007. The two companies already have a partnership in the U.S.

According to terms of the agreement, D&H will offer D-Link’s full line of networking and connectivity products to small-to-medium-sized business (SMB) and enterprise environments throughout Canada.

The company said the expanded partnership would enable it to offer distribution and product offerings to a wider base of value added resellers and IT business  customers. D&H said that, in less than one year of operations in Canada, the company has already acquired more than 110 vendor partners, and is ahead of its projections.

Calling D-Link a key element of its growth plan, Greg Tobin, general manager, D&H Canada said, "We're pleased to be able to offer D-Link's innovative, reliable technology. It's part of our strategy to succeed not just via sales numbers, but by creating a reputation as a source for quality solutions and consultative, 'high-touch' support that keep customers coming back." The company's Canadian headquarters are in Mississauga, Ontario.

Founded in 1986, D-Link is a designer, developer and manufacturer of networking, broadband, digital electronics, voice, data and video communications solutions for the digital home, Small Office/Home Office (SOHO), Small to Medium Business (SMB), and Workgroup to Enterprise environments. D-Link products are certified by the FCC (News - Alert), the WiFi Alliance and CableLabs (News - Alert).

Keith Karlsen, executive vice president at D-Link Systems, said the agreement between the two companies is proof that the “distribution channel program is one of the most successful in the industry."
