KEMP Adds BlackMesh to Managed Hosting Partners Program

KEMP Technologies, a provider of application delivery controllers and server load balancers, says it’s added BlackMesh, a provider of information technology solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, as the latest managed hosting provider under its VARMaster Partner Program.

BlackMesh says it offers managed hosting services to businesses that want to avoid the burden of running and supporting applications on the Internet around-the-clock. The solution manages all aspects of the network, hardware and operating systems. Its customers’ applications typically need http or https load balancing with persistent connections to ensure transactions are completed efficiently, officials say. They also require flexible scalability as they grow, and high-availability to ensure their sites are always up and running, according to the company.

“When looking for a new load balancer supplier to replace our outdated load balancers, we conducted an extensive search for the highest rated vendors that fit our needs,” said Jason Ford, chief technical officer of BlackMesh. “After several reviews, we choose KEMP technologies for their ability to meet our technological demands in a cost-effective and easy-to-use solution.”

KEMP load balancers enable BlackMesh to create cost-effective managed hosting solutions for small and mid-sized customers. In addition, due to the scalability and affordable cost that KEMP’s products provide, company officials say, BlackMesh can close larger customer engagements at lower price points than competitors.

BlackMesh’s ability to use the LoadMaster’s Web-based administration has made support requests easier to fulfill. The company says it no longer has to train its engineers on cryptic command-line options to get the traffic flowing where it needs to go. Also, using KEMP’s LoadMaster delivers the same performance, and provides the features and functionality as the higher priced load balancer vendors offer, according to the company.

“BlackMesh is delivering high-quality managed hosting services to small and mid-sized businesses, which is a perfect fit for us,” said Kevin Mahon, chief executive officer and founder of KEMP Technologies. “During the past year they have discovered new business opportunities, expanded their customer base, and have done a great job of selling our products.”
