Mommie Dearest Sued by Hacked Son on Facebook

This is one of those stories North Korea propaganda probably uses to prove how decadent the West is: A 16-year-old Arkansas boy is suing his mother for hacking into his Facebook (News - Alert) account and allegedly posting slanderous remarks, according to industry observer Sarah Jacobsson.

Wait, on second thought, North Korea would have to explain what Facebook is and why they're not allowed on it even though the Dear Leader has 1,478,982,053 friends.

KATV-TV reports that Denise New of Arkadelphia is "facing harassment charges from her 16-year-old," who lives with his grandmother and who has "also requested a no-contact order."

We're guessing New Thanksgiving dinners are rather chilly affairs.

According to the boy, the station reports, "his mother hacked into his Facebook and email accounts, then changed both passwords. She also allegedly posted remarks that involved slander and information about his personal life."

Thanks Mom! Couldn't you just embarrass me by posting the sappy stuff everybody else's mom does?

'I read things on his Facebook about how he had gone to Hot Springs one night and was driving 95 m.p.h. home because he was upset with a girl and it was his friend that called me and told me about all this that prompted me to even actually start really going through his Facebook to see what was going on,' New is quoted on the KATV-TV site as saying.

She'll continue to milk it - sorry, fight it: 'Oh yeah, I'm going to fight it. If I have to go even higher up, I'm going to. I'm not gonna let this rest. I think this could be a precedent-setting moment for parents,' she told KATV-TV.

New has a court date of May 12.
