Warm Health, which offers revolutionary, multichannel care management, quality measurement and health education communications, has been taken over by Altegra Health. Multichannel communications will be therefore introduced by Altegra Health to connect its members.

Altegra Health offers business and technology offerings, which align the member health status, member benefits and accurate reimbursement, enhancing health plan performance.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for Warm Health," said Dan Freier, CEO at Warm Health, Inc. "Joining with Altegra Health will allow us to offer clients a much broader and comprehensive array of services. We are proud to become a part of this industry-leading company as we focus our energy on continued innovations and making this transition as seamless as possible for our clients and their members."

The company's solutions handle a range of revenue management requirements, including risk adjustment, encounter reporting, member eligibility and enrollment services, and quality reporting.

Health plans can understand their members' health in depth with the help of these solutions, ensuring the correct benefits, the correct care and the correct reimbursement.

Tim Cameron and Michael Lunzer, with an aim to develop an enhanced method for health plans to correspond with and engage their members, founded Warm Health in 2005. Interactive, multichannel member communications, along with an exhaustive library of management programs for chronic conditions, maternal health, Star Ratings and HEDIS, are available with the company, fulfilling the requirements of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial health plan members.

The Warm Health App, launched in April 2012, offers continuing, interactive care and disease management information to health plan associates. The app also offers a straight, protected communication link between the associate and their care manager.

"With the market-leading services and technologies we already have in place, bringing on another industry leader will enhance our position as the most trusted and valued partner in meeting our healthcare clients' needs," said Kevin Barrett, president and CEO at Altegra Health.
