Verimatrix, Divitel Collaborate for Expansion of Ziggo TV app

Verimatrix (News - Alert), the specialist in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-screen digital TV services around the globe, recently  the company  joined hands with Divitel, an independent systems integrator for professional media solutions, for the expansion of Ziggo's (News - Alert) Ziggo TV app. 

As the result of the agreement, Zigo has been able to expand its Ziggo TV multi-screen service which is delivered via a Ziggo-managed Wi-Fi connection. Divitel is the systems integrator for the deployment, which relies on the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for Internet TV to provide a seamless and transparent security solution. Moreover, VCAS also enables the operators to easily phase in support for additional desktop or mobile devices in the future.

The Verimatrix VCAS provides the tools and support digital TV operators require in order to address the new opportunities arising from the accelerating convergence of video delivery over various types of networks - whether managed or unmanaged - to a multitude of devices. This convergence must encompass a proactive revenue protection and enhancement approach that enables service operators to cast a much wider net with their service offerings.
