Griffin International Appoints Jim Koestler Vice President Consumer Electronics


MINNEAPOLIS --(Business Wire)-- Twin Cities-based Griffin International today announced that James (Jim) Koestler has been named Vice President Consumer Electronics effective immediately.

Koestler, 48, was formerly Vice President of Product Management/Polaroid of the Petters Company. From 1985 to 2004 he held numerous key positions at Best Buy including Senior Buyer in a variety of product categories. He began his career as buyer at Famous Footwear. Koestler was born and grew up in Kiester, Minnesota, and graduated from the University of Minnesota - Morris with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration in 1981. Koestler lives in Inver Grove Heights with his wife Gretchen and their son Jacob, age 12, and daughter Erin, age 8.
