Napier Healthcare Solutions, an integrated healthcare IT solutions company, announced that it has deployed Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) at the Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH) in Bhutan.
Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital, the apex healthcare institution of Bhutan, is 350+ beds, multi-specialty, national tertiary referral center and regional referral center hospital for Western Bhutan.
JDWNRH hopes to improve patient management and reduce waiting time for patients with the help of HIMS.
"We have gone live with HIMS (Hospital Information Management System of Napier Healthcare Solutions) in Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH) with the help of the entire team of Napier Healthcare Solutions, we are able to use the system successfully," said Dr. Damber K. Nirola, the project coordinator of hospital information system of JDWNRH, in a statement.

Napier's Hospital Information Management solution delivers a Web based, modular, scalable and tightly integrated system that is built around the core functions supporting hospital administration, financials and patient management.
The modular approach allows it to add on other supported clinical and ancillary solutions that allow it to build a system to meet complete health information system and budgetary requirements. It also allows organization to achieve requirements for electronic health records, patient safety, revenue cycle management and more.

Developed using healthcare industry standards like HL7 messaging and DICOM, the solution allows seamless integration with the third-party IT solutions.
"We are pleased to be associated with JDWNRH and helping them improve the overall quality of healthcare with a better management system. The web-based HIS provides advanced intelligence tools that empower public health and national hospitals to take informed decisions in real time to improve the quality of critical healthcare services," said Karthik Tirupathi, CEO of Napier.

Tirupathi said that availability of next generation mobility and analytics as part of the solution enables hospitals to widen the reach of critical health services to wider a population, even in remote areas.
